When You’re Not Looking is a story about romance and travel, making peace with your past, ignoring outdated stereotypes and finding happiness again.

A middle-aged woman, retired from a successful career, soon realizes that she’s bored with retirement and wants to travel and have adventures.

While making plans for a life of adventure, she meets someone and struggles with the decision to enter into a relationship. She is convinced that it’s too late in life to plan ‘forever’ with someone.

The quandary she finds herself in is – what if her ‘forever’ isn’t the same as his ‘forever’?
