Lauren Davis
Author of romantic fantasy

Lauren studied creative writing and English at the University of Mississippi and wrote stories with her close friends in her teenage and college years. Lauren appreciated reading the works of other authors while working as a State Capitol Police Officer in her home state. Unfortunately, she developed two disabling cancers over the course of her employment and had to leave her favorite position.

While undergoing chemotherapy, she discovered that writing brought light back into her life and made her very happy. She decided to complete a novel while recovering from her treatments in New England and wrote her first book there. An online magazine reached out to Lauren to see if she would be interested in writing short stories and lifestyle articles for them on a voluntary basis. Lauren was thrilled to write for Scribe Magazine and set publishing her novel to the side for a time.
