Patients deserve to have their voices heard. It’s up to health care professionals to take a long, hard look at their own practices to assess whether they have ears to hear.
Patientology is about the study of patients in the role of the patient in relation to the health care delivery system.
Patients are supposed to be the reason for the health care system, but more attention is given to the health care agencies and their professional staff than to the patients.
When agencies write their “patient-centred” plans, they are more concerned with the health care professional than with the patient.
