The Boy Who Saved Bears

London, Christmas 1940. Schoolboy Tommie faces war – not only against the Nazi Blitz on his beloved Britain now but also against the demons that afflict him from within, and those in the playground at school…

In this battle thick, he gains access to a different world of a different universe – a world of fantastic creatures, natures and colours. There, he must prove himself worthy of defeating the demons to save its imperilled inhabitants from the looming evil- and by doing so, save Britain herself in his own world.

Along the way, he makes friends with those on the beautiful Somerset farm where he’s evacuated to- and then with the otherworld creatures who help him grow and exorcise his own demons.

This story is his retelling of his adventure in seeking to secure victory over evil- for himself, his family and his country – and, of course, for his bear-y friends and their world!
